Avoid painkillers, with exception of Tylenol (Acetaminophen) but avoid Advil and Motrin (Ibuprofen.) it is best to reschedule in the week before if you have an active acne breakout. if you are unsure if you are allergic to the lidocaine topical numbing cream, you can schedule a patch test before the procedure.
